How do I Correct Information on my 1099 Form?

 

For an incorrect or missing name, business name, SSN, EIN, or address: 

 
1. Proceed to update your account information via the 'My Account' page of your Payable account. This can either be found by pulling out the menu on your Payable mobile app/device or on the web where your picture appears in the upper right-hand corner. You can access this page by clicking on the following link: 
 
 
2. The previous step does not generate a corrected 1099 form. To obtain a corrected 1099 form you need to click on the 'Request Correction' option included at the bottom of your 1099 form. This will inform Wonolo that you are requesting a correction. To access your form please click on the following link: 
 
 
3. Email Wonolo directly to let them know that you need a new 1099 and that you have already updated the information that was incorrect via the 'My Account' page of your Payable account. Wonolo's contact email and phone number are included on your 1099 form on the top left-hand side where the payer/filer information is. 
 

For incorrect gross amount: 

 
1. Access your e-delivered 1099 form on your Payable account and click on the 'Request Correction' option included at the bottom of your form. This will inform Wonolo that you are requesting a correction. To access your form please click on the following link: 
 
 
2. Contact Wonolo directly to let them know about the incorrect gross amount so this can be reviewed by them. Wonolo's contact email and phone number are included on your 1099 form on the top left-hand side where the payer/filer information is displayed. 
 
Once Wonolo corrects your 1099 form you should be informed via email that a new corrected form is available on your Payable account. As much as we would love to generate this for you, only Wonolo can complete this action.
